2012 Story of a Gun – Mosin Nagant 91/30

Russia produced roughly 17 million M91/30 Mosin Nagant rifles during its run from 1891 to the present. In the 80s and 90s, there were warehouses full of milsurp Mosin Nagant rifles and surplus ammo in crates located in Russia, China and Eastern Europe. As avenues of revenue, a steady flow of these came into the US to be sold to civilian shooters. There are many Stories Of A Gun involving the Mosin in the US. A few of them made their way to a Big 5 store in the East Bay Area, and they were pounced on by the eager throngs….
