Got a package from Cranky of some beautiful cast bullets. After staring in wonder I did what any reloader would do. I loaded them up and to the range I went. My testing platform was a Ruger P89. Mike TreenCasting, loading and powder coating in the great NW of Pa!!! I occasionally get to shoot […]

After babying my old Lyman dial caliper, I decided to get a new set of digital calipers. While looking for things for the house on Home Depot's website, I came across a set of 6" digitals that seemed promising. Stainless steel rule, 3 measurement modes, nice hard case AND a cast metal body instead of the normal plastic. All for $30 with free shipping to my local store for pickup. The General Tools #147 is a caliper worth checking out. On a side note, did you know Home Depot sold hunting supplies? I also purchased 2 nylon hip holsters from Allen Mfg for less than $15 combined.
Some of the awards my daughter received shooting NRA positional air rifle and small bore competition before she went off to college. She hasn't shot competition since 2013, but she's still hell on wheels with a .22 rifle! Once in a blue moon I come close to keeping up with her (when she lets me). ;-)
Since I didn't have access to a long range shooting area, I decided to try this with a handgun that no one would admit to having, a Lorcin L25. LOL!
Showing off a Savage 99 lever action takedown model.
