Hey guys, I would like to start my contributions to The Reloaders Network by answering the common questions I get asked regarding the Uintah Precision UPR-10. It is a bolt action AR-10 upper, mine is chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor. The questions I am most often asked are; Why a bolt action AR-10? Why are they so expensive? Why would I buy this when I can buy a Ruger Precision rifle for the same price?

This was my first opportunity to test the Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16 scope. This model is MOA with an EBR-2C reticle and matching MOA turrets which is exactly what you want in a scope, a reticle that matches the turrets. That makes measuring and dialing the correct adjustment easy. This is not my Review for the Vortex Diamond Back Tactical I want to try it a few more times before having a solid opinion on how I feel about it.

First long range trip with the Tikka T1x 22LR and I wanted to collect some data for drops at distance. My Ballistic AE chart lined up really well compared to impacts. It was very windy which created a huge challenge this far away.

Here is a playlist with all 3 of my long-range milk jug challenges following the Long Range Shooters of Utah rules. It was a great time and a fantastic test to see how I stack up against the long list of excellent shooters who have also attempted the challenge.

Here is the Real Avid tool kit in use making many pieces one badass little one!

Here is the summary of the first rounds I loaded. Bullets and brass weight sorted, brass shoulder bumped and neck expanded with a mandrel to get .001” tension. Three charge weights each with two overall lengths. 2.810 and the long which was set .020” off the lands

I have a cheap simple solution to the stack of boxes that hold your dies and shell holders and you can make one too! The idea started when I was stacking some scraps of wood for my fire pit. I arranged a simple step design and took a few pictures. My dad is a carpenter by trade so I sent him the pictures with an idea of some dimensions.

A quick update on the latest addition to the long range collection. I was fortunate enough to acquire another Uintah Precision UPR15 this time in a different AR-15 cartridge. It looks the same on the surface but it’s what’s on the inside that counts! I will be getting a muzzle brake per usual and also an additional scope. Stay tuned to see what happens with this build!

From the first rounds fired to 60 rounds down the tube here is the update on the 7mm SAUM Tikka T3x Custom Rifle. Velocities and group sizes mostly with H1000 and the Sierra 183 Matchking bullet.

Covering how I am doing the initial prep on my ADG brass when it is brand new. This is for my Tikka I have converted to 7mm Short action ultra magnum.

This is what the Tikka T3x 7mm SAUM was built for! Going further than every other tool in my safe. This trip was the entire drive behind the build and the choice of each component to carefully curate a 2,000 yard capable rig, the Vasara! (Means Hammer in Finnish where Tikka is manufactured) I have been chomping at the bit for more than a year to attempt this feat and bring you guys this video. I’m glad to share my results and bring you along the journey! Can’t wait for the next goal to crush!

I'm 19 years old and I have very little experience with rifles, or even hand guns at this point. I am aware of the idea of long-range shooting but truly don't know much beyond you shoot at a target that is far away. I am unfamiliar with cartridges, bullet weights and even brands of rifles. I was watching Public Enemies and see Melvin Pervice run the bolt on a Mauser 98 and think to myself, I want a bolt-action rifle. But what brand should I buy?
