For today’s video we have some fun with four of the most powerful AR-15s in the world! I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
Smith and Wesson is of course known for the 44 Magnum. Dirty Harry is said to have made the 44 Magnum the success it is today, even though he used a 41 Magnum in the movie. Sorry for the spoiler. This 629-4 is 1 in 500 made, Slab sided barrel, magna port, integrated scope rail […]
What happens when Wyoming has a long winter and Steve is locked up in his shop for way too long? He puts together an awesome gun, that’s what! This one is a TC Contender with an EA Brown barrel chambered in 22 Mag. This could be the perfect rifle for our 500 yard rimfire zombie. […]
A tool similar to Quickload but for free.
I had lots of questions about how to cast good hollow point bullets and avoid some of the headaches, so I decided to make a video to show some of the things I have learned over the years. Hopefully this video is helpful to some of you and can save you from frustration.
Several years ago, I purchased a lightly used brushed-chrome model of the Desert Eagle handgun chambered in 50 Action Express. Finding the .50 cal bullets for it has been tricky at times–other times it has been quite expensive. To save money and to not be reliant on bullet availability at the local or online shops, […]
Here is the Real Avid tool kit in use making many pieces one badass little one!
Today, I show in this video the entire process from start to finish how I cast, powder coat, load, and shoot some 250gr coated cast lead hollow points in the 44 magnum. This is one of my "go to" loads for blasting milk jugs without much recoil. These loads are perfect for maximum explosion with minimal recoil--great for those milk jug duels with the buddies. Got questions? Feel free to leave me a comment below, and I will do my best to answer it!
In this video I show most of the steps from start to finish on how I make one of my favorite milk jug exploding 45-70 loads. All the details should be in the video, but if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment here and I will respond as quickly as I […]
Several months ago I bought two pistol uppers - a 10.5" .458 SOCOM and an 8.5" .300 BLK. This is a function check and the first shots fired from my new AR-15 pistols.
Today we're taking a look at the "NAS3 Two-Piece Shell Case Technology". Do they work? Will they work with cast bullets? Stick around to the end for details on a giveaway!
In this video you can see me casting zinc bullets for the first time. Casting zinc bullets is no problem if the zinc and the mold is hot enough.
In this video we perform a load test with the Hornady 147 ELD-M and Alliant Reloder 26 in 6.5 Creedmoor. We use Quick load software to come up with the load data used and compare our results to what Quick load predicted. We show velocity and group data at 100 yards. None of the Load data used in today video is from a published source. We do not recommend using any of the data. For entertainment purposes only.
3 months ago I posted a video about "My New Mobile Bullet Casting Bench". Today I finish the upgrades. I added the NOE Lead Pot Mould Guide. I also added ventilation for my casting pot.
I recently purchased a mold to cast .45 caliber bullets for my 1911. In this video, I use the mold to cast three different style bullets, and then powder coat and size them. This mold has no lube groove, and the bullets must be coated with Hi-Tek or powder coat.
My new backyard handgun range.
Steve is stretching the long range limits of the AR platform. in this video he goes over some of the things he has done to shoot his rifle at 1500 yards. Next stop one mile!
I go through the entire process of casting, powdercoating, loading, and shooting some hard cast round nose bullets using the high quality NOE bullet mold for my 10mm handguns. I had wanted a round nose bullet for 10mm plinking loads. Something that would feed simply and flawlessly in each of my 10mm handguns and carbines. This bullet mold seems to do the trick.
For today’s video we have some fun with several different versions of 500 S&W Magnum! I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
Steve shooting his 450 Bushmaster offhand at 500 yards because that's perfectly normal. Everybody does that.
In this video we push our velocities higher with a load test with the Hornady 147 ELD-M and Alliant Reloder 26 in 6.5 Creedmoor.
I am casting round balls for loading in my revolvers. I purchased these single ball brass molds from Jeff Tanner at ballmoulds.com I'm looking forward to loading these to shoot in .44 Special, .44 Magnum, and .45 Colt as both single ball and duplex loads.
Just a quick video doing some speedy hand casting, powder coating, loading, and shooting of some 154 gr round flat nose cast bullets from an NOE bullet mold. I like to show the whole process of casting, loading, shooting so you can see the finished product being used. Enjoy!
Testing out 15.0 gr of H110 for the 357 and testing some plinking ammo from Accura for the 38 special with Titegroup.
