Hey guys, I would like to start my contributions to The Reloaders Network by answering the common questions I get asked regarding the Uintah Precision UPR-10. It is a bolt action AR-10 upper, mine is chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor. The questions I am most often asked are; Why a bolt action AR-10? Why are they so expensive? Why would I buy this when I can buy a Ruger Precision rifle for the same price?

As shown in this video, I built a proof-of-concept bullpup chassis for a bolt-action rifle, specifically a Savage model 110 in 7mm magnum. TheIdahoanShowIdaho was one of the last continental US states to be settled and, more so than some parts of the US, the culture of Idaho still retains a frontier spirit of self-reliance. […]
Here are the results from the first trip out with the Uintah Precision UPR-15 chambered in 224 Valkyrie. The UPR 15 is an AR-15 bolt action Upper that swaps with the push of two pins onto any standard AR-15 lower, but this rifle has the added accuracy benefits of a bolt action.
I went on a trip with my brother and set up targets at 350 and 500. This is the first time really going for groups at distance with the 95g Sierra Match King. My rifle has a 1:7 twist so I was curious how stable they would be.
Here is a playlist with all 3 of my long-range milk jug challenges following the Long Range Shooters of Utah rules. It was a great time and a fantastic test to see how I stack up against the long list of excellent shooters who have also attempted the challenge.
I get the entire Uintah Precision team rounded up for a great conversation in our room while staying at SHOT show in Las Vegas 2019. We cover the entire story of their bolt action uppers from the first phone call to what they have planned in the future. We get to know the guys a bit and learn more about what makes the team so awesome.
This was my first opportunity to test the Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16 scope. This model is MOA with an EBR-2C reticle and matching MOA turrets which is exactly what you want in a scope, a reticle that matches the turrets. That makes measuring and dialing the correct adjustment easy. This is not my Review for the Vortex Diamond Back Tactical I want to try it a few more times before having a solid opinion on how I feel about it.
