The cylinder throats on my EAA Big Bore Bounty Hunter .45 Colt revolver measure .4565". The factory lead bullets are smaller than that which leads to leading and inaccuracy. I decided to reuse the components of some factory ammunition I had on hand, but improve the performance in my revolver with my own cast bullets which measure .457".

I tested a couple different loads in my EAA Big Bore Bounty Hunter single action for accuracy.  These were loaded with Alliant Unique.  It appears the larger bullets will help to increase accuracy in this particular revolver.

I finished the grips and changed the springs on my EAA Corp. (European American Armory) Big Bore Bounty Hunter.  This revolver is a .45 Colt with a 4 3/4" barrel.  (It's advertised to have a 4.5" barrel, but that is incorrect.)  I covered the grips with a combination of tung oil and beeswax.

I recently purchased the EAA Corp. (European American Armory) Big Bore Bounty Hunter in .45 Colt with a 4 3/4" barrel. (It's advertised to have a 4.5" barrel, but that is incorrect.) It promises to be a fun gun, but note the large chamber sizes.

First time casting with the Lee TL452-200-SWC mold. I powder coated these with the Eastwood Copper Penny powder coat, and sized them to .452" with a Lee push through sizer.
