Using the Mossberg Maverick 88 Security to have a little fun on the Buffalo Rifle and Pistol Range today. In this video we use the borescope to find out why out Mossberg .410 no longer functions. Bolt Action ReloadingJust a guy at his reloading bench. I primarily focus on long range reloading.
We go through and check out some accessories which can turn your 12 gauge Remington or Mossberg into the perfect home defense machine.
Today I am doing a quick overview on my Mossberg 500 Shotgun.
Out shooting the Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun. Got a nice little shower during the video. Felt good since it was a really hot day. This is a great gun for lefties.
Marlin 1895, Mossberg 500 and some updates
I was out filming the Mossberg 500 and I think the heat got to me and made me goofy. So I made this video.
Did you know that the most common Civilian Owned Weapon is the 12 ga shotgun, and the most commonly owned shotgun is the Pump Action Shotgun? Did you know that the 12 ga shotgun is just about the most lethal close quarters weapon system in existence? By “close quarters”, I am talking 0-50 yards, and […]

I have been working lately on furthering the science of Shotgun Slug Loading and trying to get something close to rifle like accuracy from the big boolits. Glass & Pillar Bedding – Improves Accuracy? – Accurizing The Mossberg 100ATR – Budget Precision Rifle Build

This video compares our slug reloads using the Russian Paradox slugs and tail wads vs Federal and Brenneke factory slug loads. The Russian Paradox already shot groups in the 7/10th inch at 25 yards and 1.77" at 50 using the TC Encore. Let's use the Mossberg 500 rifled barrel in this test...
When it comes to quality-made shotguns at affordable prices, it's pretty hard to beat a Mossberg. Models such as the 88, 500 and 590 have a large and dedicated fan base, and it's not difficult to imagine why. But as respected as these scatter-guns are, they're not without their detractors. Without a doubt, the number one gripe you'll hear about them is the much-maligned 'Mossberg Rattle.'
Recently I picked up a Mossberg 500 3-Barrel combo shotgun for use with my ammunition testing and development. It's a very unique package that includes two smoothbore barrels, a rifled barrel, as well as a full set of chokes. Designed as an all-in-one solution for hunters, this package includes just about everything you'll need for a variety of different game, from fowl to fauna, at an unbeatable price.
Recently I was looking for a shell carrier to install on my Mossberg Maverick 88, and was horrified to see that anything that didn't require me to glue something to the receiver, or put screws directly into the stock started at $75. Considering I only paid a couple hundred bucks for this gun to begin with, there was no way I was going to spend almost half that again on a shell carrier.
What’s the Gun You’ve Shot the Most? A while back Thor’s Axe 777 invited me to participate in a shooter’s coffee chat collaboration between a few gun channels. The topic of this one was “What’s the gun you’ve shot the most, and what’s the story behind it?” I thought about this for a while, and […]
