The new Lyman 8 Station Turret press is an impressive piece of gear...
In this video we load, test and discuss the results of 35 Remington loaded with H4198. I hope you enjoy it, maybe even learn something, and thanks for watching. God bless you all.
I recently cast bullets for 9mm with the NOE HTC358-133-RN mold, powder coated them with Eastwood Lime Green, and sized them to .358". I am now working up a load with Unique powder, which is a challenge since there is no published load data for this or a similar bullet. I am shooting these from my Beretta 92S.
A quick look at an alternative handle from The Reloaders Network ThecrazyScotsmanI am a collector of Smith & Wesson Revolvers, in particular the Model 29 .44 Magnum and the Model 19 .357 Magnum. There is nothing like blued steel and wood grips my friends. I am a member of the Smith & Wesson Collectors Association […]

A short tour of my current reloading bench Brass Hoarder
After years of using an old Black & Decker 425 Workmate as a steel frame for a 1 1/2 inch thick plywood top (two 3/4 pieces glued and screwed together) for my portable reloading bench, I decided it was time to build a new one. While the 425 model does a fine job supporting my […]
Casting (open fire), Pan Lubing (bacon grease), Reloading (.44 Magnum), and Range Time – my Tacopocalypse VR
This video is a VR to the Tacopocalypse challenge issued by Full.Lead.Taco. His YouTube channel recently crossed over the 2,000 subscriber mark and that prompted him to do a giveaway. Taco is one of the nicest and most generous guys you'll ever talk to, and he has some of the best prize options of any giveaway I've ever seen. This video features bullet casting over an open flame, making bullet lube from bacon grease, pan lubing, reloading, and range time with my .44 Magnum.
I haven't been able to do any bullet casting, reloading, or make any trips to the gun range in about 3 months. I finally had a chance to do all three, so I grabbed the mold for one of my favorite bullets, the Lyman 429421, which is Elmer Keith's famous bullet for the .44 Special and .44 Magnum.
Value turret press link Classic turret press link Thanks to Kenny @eagleeyeshooting I had a chance to do a side by side comparison of the NEW Lee Value Turret press and the older Classic Turret press. Hopefully the video gives the viewer a good look at the difference between these two. I started out […]
Most of us start reloading to save money, then make the same joke about not saving money so much as shooting more. We can go premium, or bargain in our tooling. I tire-kicked about reloading for more than a decade before I really got started, and sought a lot of advice and did a lot […]

Today I present part two in my series on getting started reloading: “Picking the needed equipment”. Hopefully you already read part one and decided to continue. In everything we do let us remember to do things safely and carefully. My guidelines here are to help you pick the needed equipment to reload your own ammunition […]
James and Nick Ross have some great creations and supplies plus the very fine Russian shotgun slug molds at The Reloaders Network Store… Note that with this device, we can put the handle anywhere on the turret where Lyman only gives us 2 positions. It’s worth dropping over there for a look… FortuneCookie45LCFortuneCookie45LC started posting […]

Happy Halloween..!! The 38 Special was originally loaded with black powder in 1898. The 357 Magnum came out in 1935 and was never intended to be loaded with black powder or substitutes. Let’s go ahead and do that using Hodgdon Triple Seven FFFg powder and see if there is any utility there… FortuneCookie45LCFortuneCookie45LC started posting […]
In this video, I share my development of a simple press mounting system that can be easily and completely removed from the bench and swapped with other items. This could make your reloading work space more versatile.
If you find that primers will not load into the primer cup of your Redding Slide Bar Automatic Primer Feeder System, this video might help you. You may also find that by adjusting the primer cup height you might be able to correct issues with primers flipping upside down. God bless and thanks for watching. Highboy
