But what happens if that once in a lifetime event forces us to protect ourselves or our loved ones, are you ready to take control of the situation? With law enforcement stretched to the limit, you can be sure aid will be hours away in remote areas, especially in the back country.
This series will focus on steps you can take to ensure you come back alive and intact. From firearms, knives, emergency medical gear, vehicle recovery, mountain climbing gear and more. This time we journey to one of the high mountain reservoirs to do some fishing, then prepare lunch by the fireside. Join us as we take you outdoors and go through some common sense techniques to keep you safe both at base camp and on the trail.
