FIRST 357 MAGNUM RELOADS PART 2

This was my first time reloading for the 357 Magnum. I had a lot of fun and learned quite a bit. As usual, I received a lot of great advice and help from people at The Reloaders Network. The main lesson for me was about crimp, specifically roll crimp. I received good advice from Charles Irby and read a lot about crimp and handgun cartridges. The type of crimp I was using for these is roll crimp. Roll crimp is when the end of the case mouth is reduced and rolled inward toward the bullet. I won’t get into much more about different types of crimp, but will just say that, crimp is very important on this cartridge. Without the proper amount of crimp the bullet has a hard time building up consistent pressures and the results will be poor. The proper amount of crimp will ensure a good powder burn which helps the bullet leave the case with the proper amount of velocity and leads to more consistent results. I hope people enjoy this video and hopefully gather some useful information. Thanks to all the people who helped me out and to The Reloaders Network for letting me post material here.
