Shooting the 38 Spl +P, Hollow Point, 1:40 alloy with a BHN of 8.0 into Clear Ballistics Gel from my Ruger LCR. This was the very first test I shot in this series.

I needed a way to consolidate and compare the information from all of my powder coated cast lead hollow point tests.

Trying some unconventional/non popular methods/powder selection here, as I couldn’t find any video of someone using Tite Group in 357 Magnum. ChicowizeI’m a Rookie Reloader. I started in July 2018 with my first press being a Dillon XL650 and recently I’ve joined the community of casting my own projectiles and loving it as much as reloading. […]

Oh the humanity!!!!!! But I couldn’t resist. The hardest part was figuring out the shot timer. Guess I should have had my grandson help me. Anyway, here you go. .38 Special with Lee 158 RF out of a Taurus 66 6″ barrel PS: The names have been changed to protect the innocent!!! Mike TreenCasting, loading […]

Potent Hog Medicine? Is 357 Magnum 158gr at 1248fps from a 6inch barrel and 1489fps from a 16in barrel, leveraction at 75 yards or under potent hog medicine? Leave a comment and tell me what you think. Thanks Loads of Bacon for bullets.   Dayattherange.com mr.revolverguywww.dayattherange.com

I got a package from Loads of Bacon of his world renown coated and bacon lubed bullets. Normally I load my medium velocity 357 Magnum rounds with HS-6. Just upon completing some 10MM testing with BE-86 and like the performance and velocity I was seeing with it I decided to use BE-86 in 357 Magnum.

In this video we load, test and discuss the results of 35 Remington loaded with H4198. I hope you enjoy it, maybe even learn something, and thanks for watching. God bless you all.

A quick chat over coffee about my start to bullet casting.

The gun I've used the most is a .357 Magnum revolver, the 4", 7-shot Taurus model 66.

We load and test .357 Magnum using Shooters World Heavy Pistol powder and discuss the results. Shooters World Powders are available from North Georgia Reloading at their website, their retail store in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, and in their booth at a gun show near you. I hope you guys will try the entire line. Thanks for watching and may God bless you all.

I'm reloading the hollow point and solid bullets for the first two tests in the Powder Coated Cast Lead Hollow Point Bullet Testing series. This series is a long experiment testing powder coated cast lead hollow point bullets made from various alloys and fired at various velocities. In this video I go through the process of figuring out the Unique powder charge for the .38 Special +P, and then I load the bullets.

This is the seventh video in the Powder Coated Cast Lead Hollow Point Bullet Testing series, which is a long experiment testing powder coated cast lead hollow point bullets made from various alloys and fired at various velocities. In this video I have a little fun using various methods to measure the hardness of the lead alloys used to cast the bullets that will be used for this test.

This is the sixth video in the Powder Coated Cast Lead Hollow Point Bullet Testing series, which is a long experiment testing powder coated cast lead hollow point bullets made from various alloys and fired at various velocities. In this video I measure, size, and weigh each of the bullets that will be used for this test.
