I work through some load development with the Sierra 95 grain Match Kings using Reloder-16 and 85 gr Barnes Match Burners using H4350 and Reloder-16. Some results are good, some not so good.

In this video I discuss the loads that I am choosing for taking the 224 Valkyrie out to longer ranges.  I have been doing load development at 100 yards and I have found some consistent, repeatable loads that are grouping for me, and giving me the ballistics that I am looking for.  I will go through these loads, and show some targets that I have shot with them.

In this video I discuss load development and results for the 224 Valkyrie using Hornady 88 grain ELD Match bullets and Reloder-16.

This is the third video about load development with the Sierra 90 grain MatchKing bullet. I revisit my Reloder-16 and H4350 loads to verify my initial finding and check repeatability. I also discuss my thoughts on how this ended up.

In this video, I shoot the Hornady 88 grain ELD-Match bullets with Reloder-16 again. I wanted to do some verification on a load that I was seeing some decent results. I also had planed to shoot some other loads but it did not work out. So is life.

Load development for the 224 Valkyrie with Hornady 88 gr ELD-Match bullets.  For this round I use Varget, H4350, and Reloder-16 powders.

This is the first in my 300 Win Mag Load Development Series.  I didn’t feel like making a video on this topic as there is not much to show at the moment.  As I sit here and write this article,  I am hoping that I will end it with my mind being made up.  We […]
