The Gift

My friend Wayne & brother in Christ lost his father sometime back & one day Wayne came to visit but I was gone. He left a package with my wife & once home I was amazed at the content. Inside was a 6″ Model 29-3 Smith & Wesson belonging to father Byrd Miller, a WWII veteran of the Pacific who made a beach landing in the heat of things. I will ever cherish this gift & named it the Byrd Miller Magnum.
