Hey guys, I would like to start my contributions to The Reloaders Network by answering the common questions I get asked regarding the Uintah Precision UPR-10. It is a bolt action AR-10 upper, mine is chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor. The questions I am most often asked are; Why a bolt action AR-10? Why are they so expensive? Why would I buy this when I can buy a Ruger Precision rifle for the same price?
I originally wanted a bullet mold which I could use to cast a heavy 300blk bullet which was easy to cast, coat, load, and shoot for plinking in my 300 blk AR15 at subsonic speeds. I tried a few of the already available molds but had feeding issues, undersized issues, boat tail issues, or issues […]
Hello fellow shooting sport enthusiasts! My name is Mark Heyboer, and I have been involved in the shooting sports for my entire adult life, that’s about 40 years worth! In my spare moments I am also an inventor that must improve on everything I do. I have many things to share, but my latest […]
What happens when Wyoming has a long winter and Steve is locked up in his shop for way too long? He puts together an awesome gun, that’s what! This one is a TC Contender with an EA Brown barrel chambered in 22 Mag. This could be the perfect rifle for our 500 yard rimfire zombie. […]
A couple times a year I shoot sporting clays. I have been using a Mossberg 500 12 ga to date, but have been admiring the over and unders and Benellis that many of the shooters gravitate towards. I’ve never been one to follow trends, but often there is a reason those accomplished in a field […]
Sharpshooter USA Buckshot Moulds Casting your own buckshot is one of the simplest and most economical ways to save money as a reloader, particularly if you’re a big shotgun fan. That being the case, why don’t more people do it? There are a number of reasons, but the biggest factor is probably that there just […]
Smith and Wesson is of course known for the 44 Magnum. Dirty Harry is said to have made the 44 Magnum the success it is today, even though he used a 41 Magnum in the movie. Sorry for the spoiler. This 629-4 is 1 in 500 made, Slab sided barrel, magna port, integrated scope rail […]
This afternoon as I was wandering around SHOT Show I received a message from James Pollard on Slack stating, “Please see what you can find out about the new 350 Legend cartridge and if anyone is making it available for the AR platform.” I had not yet heard of the 350 Legend, but I quickly […]
Best Free Reloading App – Reloading Assistant I originally published this video to You Tube on June 18, 2016. I thought this video might be helpful to some and wanted to repost it here. This app has helped me many times over the last couple of years. It takes all the published load data that […]
In my last article, I wrote about the age-old process of pan-lubing cast bullets to improve accuracy, and reduce barrel leading. Many folks who pan-lube opt to purchase their lubricants– and there’s nothing wrong with that. Many companies like Lyman, RCBS, White Label and Dragon Lubes produce excellent quality products that do a fantastic job; […]
After years of using an old Black & Decker 425 Workmate as a steel frame for a 1 1/2 inch thick plywood top (two 3/4 pieces glued and screwed together) for my portable reloading bench, I decided it was time to build a new one. While the 425 model does a fine job supporting my […]

The brand new Uintah Precision UPR-15 chambered in .224 Valkyrie has arrived! I have received the brand new UPR-15 upper from the Utah based company Uintah Precision. The UPR-15 is the second offering from the company; it is a bolt-action complete upper for an AR-15 patterned rifle. With the push of two pins you can […]
Several months ago I bought two pistol uppers - a 10.5" .458 SOCOM and an 8.5" .300 BLK. This is a function check and the first shots fired from my new AR-15 pistols.
Selecting the Best Shotshell Hulls for Reloading In my last article, we discussed the popular misconception that brass height is somehow an indication of hull strength. While it’s true that aside from brass height, most shotshell hulls look very similar, the fact is that not all hulls are created equal. In this article, we’re going […]
This is the AmmoMike83 feeder combined with a few upgrades done by Backyard Inventor. I wanted to make this video in case anyone had any questions about the parts and how they work with each other. I cannot sell these or post a link here to the STL files, but I will answer any questions […]
Everyone says 10mm and .357 Magnum are equal. Is that True? Let’s find out as we shoot the Glock 40mos vs. the Ruger 6″ GP100 with Underwood Hardcast bear loads!

Hello to The Reloaders Network! BigE here! I thought I would try something different in my 308 target rifle. It started as a Savage 11VT that was found to be a little unsafe with the original barrel (short throat with rifling at 0.307″ would pop primers on factory loads occasionally and was almost always a […]
