In this video we are evaluating a load using the Berger 105 Hybrid Target in my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6 mm Creedmoor. There is velocity and group data at 150 yards. We use Peterson Brass along with CCI-41 primers.

In this video we start our reloading process. We determine the Load Data and COAL for our first loads for out initial reloading and how it was picked. We discuss load data for the Berger 105, Sierra Match King 107 gr HPBT, 110 gr SMK HPBT, 115 gr DTAC for our Ruger Precision Rifle in 6mm Creedmoor. In this video I update the Thompson Center Compass project chambered in 300 Win Mag. This was a $200 rifle that we are going to test to see how accurate it can be with a very budget setup. In this video we go over more reloads in our Thompson Center Compass and updates moving forward. We load up ADG Brass with the 168 Berger Classic Hunter and Reloder 26. Federal FED215M primers are used. We use the Satterlee load development style to evaluate this combo and find a velocity Node to use for our next time with this powder.

This will be my first post here, so hoping you all find it informative. A bit of background first though. I have been shooting for 40 years, Reloading for 20 years, Precision shooting/Benchrest shooting for about 4 years. I still don’t know a dadgum thing. Every time I think I have had an AH HAH! […]

300 Win Mag load development with the Thompson Center Compass using the 168 Berger Classic Hunter and Alliant Reloder 26. Up to this point find a Low SD load has proved very difficult. We implement the Scot Satterlee load development data that we generated previously and use that information to choose our test loads in our journey to find a great load for our Thompson Center Compass. This was a $200 rifle that we are going to test to see how accurate it can be with a very budget setup.
