Just another Tokarev video featuring the Yugo M57 and and Czech CZ52. I shoot some reloads and Czech surplus ammo. I get excited and shoot my chrono, but luckily it survived. KFWI enjoy all things outdoors and gun related. I am a life long hunter and staunch supporter of self defense and the right to […]

Complete Disassembly - Star BM 9mm Project

This is the first of the range videos starting with the Nosler bullet and 47.5 of IMR-4895.  Not too bad for being rusty, most of what you see is me.  I had one malfunction. (I believe that the en bloc clip retainer is worn and showing its age.)  Overall a score of 155 out of a 160.

Bringing new shooters to the range is fun – today we met Steve K. who brought along a very interesting Colt 1911 from the year 1917… FortuneCookie45LCFortuneCookie45LC started posting videos on YouTube in 2012.  He has been a Reloader and Shooter since 1969.

Loading and Shooting the M1 Garand The M1 Garand rifle is a .30 caliber, gas-operated, 8 shot clip-fed, semi-automatic rifle. Expanding gases from a fired cartridge are diverted into the gas cylinder. Here, the gases meet a long-stroke piston attached to the operating rod, which is pushed rearward by the force of this high-pressure gas. […]

New Surplus (C&R) pistol from Classic Firearms.

A brief video about the importance of checking out your military surplus rifles before shooting them.

Just shooting two of my favorite bolt action military surplus rifles. The M1903 Springfield manufactured by Rock Island Arsenal and the Mauser K98k ( s/243 mfg 1937) refurbished by Yugoslavia. I was shooting Greek HXP in 30-06 and some different 8mm Mauser ammo that I had. The 8mm Mauser handloads were Hornady 8mm (323) 150gr. […]

An introduction to Yugoslavian Mauser's and the different variations that I have in my collection.

I just became an author and would like to introduce myself with a video of load developing the Eddystone 1917 30-06. I use the Audette Ladder Test method, I load up a number of cartridges using the same components. Each cartridge loaded gets a specific increment of more powder. With the 30-06, I use an […]

In this video I explain which 5 guns I believe everyone should own. Hope you enjoy!

Just a little catch up on what's been going on.

In this video I thank all of you for subscribing, watching and generally helping to make The Reloading Press successful. I also talk a little about the 10 guns on my lust list right now.

I take my Eddystone US Model of 1917 out and do some shooting with it. For a barrel that is almost 102 years old, it shoots pretty good. Thanks for watching. KFWI enjoy all things outdoors and gun related. I am a life long hunter and staunch supporter of self defense and the right to […]

Meet “Mabel” – my first Military Surplus Rifle – A 1912 Chilean Contract Mauser manufactured in Steyr, Austria by Österreichische Waffenfabriksgesellschaft (CEWG). Mabel is a “non-matching” example of a Modelo 1912 Short Rifle – the bolt, floor plate and cleaning rod have non-matching numbers. The parade loop for the sling is missing as well. The […]

Finally got around to getting my stock refinished on my 98 Mauser. Thanks a bunch Gene Tessier!

In this video we recap The Reloaders Network videos that I watched this week.

Shooting the 1917 Enfield Sporter during the July 2020 Military Rifle Shoot at Hillsdale Rifle Club.

Preparation for an upcoming Military Rifle Shoot with practice shots from the 200 yard bench.

So, you have got an M-1 and she isn't so tight anymore, these are a few hacks that the average person who has basic skills can tighten up the fitting to the stock without glass bedding.
