Trying a 10″ Octagon .22 Remington Jet Magnum Thompson/Center Contender barrel.
The barrel, grips and a couple of boxes of factory ammunition were recently purchased from a customer that brought them in to a friend’s gun shop. I also grabbed a few boxes of new brass and a batch of used cases from the shop.
I haven’t been enthusiastic about octagon barrels in the past, but after shooting this one I’m warming up to the style – the gun does feel good in the hold. About a week after purchasing this barrel, I also bought a similar one chambered in 9mm Luger. I’ll try that one out soon.
