NOE HTC459-500-SP Full.Lead.TacoI love guns, tacos, and lead. I use the guns. The guns eat lead. And I eat tacos. The videos on this channel focus on the first two items–using guns and making the ammo that gets used in them. If there is a video project you want me to do, feel free to […]
Today, we take a stroll through the mind of Taco to explore light-weight subsonic ammo in the 300 AAC Blackout (why you'd ever want to buy a break action rifle or pistol, and the reasons why Taco seems to shoot so many rounds through his 300 blk firearms...) We also go through the design of the NOE HTC310-135-RN bullet mould, why it was created and where it came from.
In this video, I show how I make some light weight coated cast bullets for my break action 300 blk firearms. These suppress really well and are a hoot to shoot. This video was recently deleted from my Youtube channel because it had casting/reloading content. I’ve uploaded it to Vimeo so that it will still […]
For today's video we do a little casting, powder coating, reloading, and finally shooting for some 160 gr heavy subsonic ammo. For the casting portion, I utilize the NOE 358-155-TC-AS5 bullet mould which was designed with a longer tapered nose to allow long seating bullet--which in turn leaves plenty of space inside the 9mm case for powder. I shoot the ammo in a few different suppressed firearms including my 9mm AR15 and glock 19. A very quiet, but hard-hitting subsonic load which smacks the steel quite nicely.
I originally wanted a bullet mold which I could use to cast a heavy 300blk bullet which was easy to cast, coat, load, and shoot for plinking in my 300 blk AR15 at subsonic speeds. I tried a few of the already available molds but had feeding issues, undersized issues, boat tail issues, or issues […]
