“Blackout Contender” | A Few Groups from the T/C 300 Whisper Barrel

Attempting to improve upon a decent group with the 10″ 300 Whisper Thompson/Center Contender while sighting-in at 25 yards.

I have been shooting this barrel set up for Unlimited Standing for awhile, and decided to temporarily reconfigure it for Unlimited Any Sight. I was still waiting for a stainless Leupold base – that’s another story entirely – so I installed a blued base and a vintage Thompson/Center variable pistol scope.

It has a bit of a two-tone appearance with the dark optics and Pachmayr grips!
