All, I’ve decided I am no longer using YouTube as my primary video outlet. I’m using The Reloaders Network. The Reloaders Network is now my home. It’s not as polished as YouTube, but it’s functional, and I have the freedom that I want and need. YouTube doesn’t want me (us) on their platform, but for […]

FYI, YouTube currently offers a private message system that allows viewers to send private messages to the owners of YouTube channels, but that service is going away in a month.

What is the future for gun channels on YouTube? Is firearms content going to be okay to post? Where can we turn to if YouTube turns us away? What should we be doing right now? I attempt to answer these questions, and give some insight into the real motives behind YouTube's actions over the last 17 months.

In this video we recap The Reloaders Network Content Creator's videos that I watched this week.

I have no intention of ripping on YouTube on a regular basis.  It was their anti-rights and anti-freedom policies concerning firearms content that initially led to me create this site, but most of the authors here, myself included, still post our content to YouTube, and most of the users of this site are subscribers to […]

Ozark Spirit Channel Update

There were some very interesting events that took place on YouTube this week.  For those that have not yet heard, there’s a channel called Bloke on the Range who had his channel terminated, and he’s still not sure why.  His channel has since been reinstated, but it is still not clear what led to this chain […]

I am still away on business, so I have not been able to record any new casting, reloading, or shooting videos, but I have been posting “teaser trailers” for the videos I took down in response to YouTube’s new Policies concerning content featuring firearms. Some folks are starting to believe that such videos are going […]

Welcome to the Loads of Bacon channel! I cover many topics here, but most of my videos are related to cast lead bullets, reloading, and firearms.  I also do a fair amount of hollow point testing, and most of the hollow points are cast bullets as well. If you enjoy my videos, I hope you’ll […]

Jon Patton from The Gun Collective spoke directly with YouTube, and it appears that reloading videos do in fact violate their new policies.

We have all opened the box on a new appliance, toy, or anything that will require some assembly. Usually, the directions are right on top and sometimes they even have an abbreviated version. What happens next depends on the person and their own skill level or just their pride. I will not tell how many […]

First off, I need to express my thanks to LOADS OF BACON for taking his precious time and money to do this….for Us. I really believe that this outlet will grow into a large network of people to share knowledge and experiences so that we may better the 2A community.   We will become family.  You may […]

I wanted to take a minute and let you all know my current plan in light of the recent addition of more anti-freedom policies at YouTube. You can find the new YouTube “Policies on content featuring firearms” here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7667605?hl=en Several of their new policies are clear, but several are also very unclear. For instance, what […]

At this time it is unknown whether or not the new YouTube policies will be used to issues strikes against channels for videos that provide instruction concerning reloading or bullet casting. What is known is that YouTube is not operating in accordance with their own declared values, and they seem to be okay with that. […]
