Often when we have someone start talking to us about long range shooting they often say something like, “Yeah I would like to do that, but I can’t afford the rifle I would need”, or, “That sounds like an expensive hobby”, or maybe, “I don’t reload so I can’t be successful at distance.” While equipment that is expensive has its place in distance shooting, and reloading helps find what your rifle really likes, this video is a pretty good example of what is possible with factory rifles these days. Now while our friend Pat here may have paid more for this rifle than it was worth at a benefit auction, (a few too many adult beverages may have affected his bidding), it’s still a factory rifle shooting factory Hornady American Gunner ammunition.
