Improved: Making 300 Blackout Brass with Lee Power Quick trim system
TreeTopFlier
This is a refinement of a video “Make 300 Blackout brass easy with Lee Power Quick Trim” . The original video is several years old and has had 60K views, so I though it was worth making an updated one to compile the lessons learned and drive home some of the more important points. I have been making blackout brass this way, very successfully, for years with several different cutting heads. It takes a little modification and some attention to detail in the setup, but once you get it right its fast and easy. Because the trimmer trims and chamfers in one shot it really cuts additional steps.
This is the original video if anyone is interested (originally posted Feb 13, 2015)
I am retired USAF. I reloaded some as a kid, mostly shotgun, then stepped away for many years. After I retired and could put down roots I got back into it again and over time I have found that I like reloading more than shooting. I find it to be an interesting hobby and it scratches my tinkering itch. Sometime ago I started making YouTube videos mostly about reloading… and well, here we are. Most folks call me Tree Top or TTF.
I am the designer and fabricator of the #TTFpowderstand
